PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is designed for beginners to help build confidence underwater.

Day 1: Theory & Confined Water Practice

Day one starts at the dive centre in Nusa Lembongan with a theory lesson on equipment usage and safety techniques. After approximately 30 minutes, participants will engage in a pool dive to practice breathing with the regulator, buoyancy control, and underwater communication with the instructor.

Day 2: Open Water Scuba Diving

The second day begins at the same location, where participants will board a boat for their first open water dive. Instructors will assist as participants get equipped. After descending to a maximum depth of 12 metres, the group will explore coral reefs and marine life around Nusa Lembongan.

A lunch with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit (vegetarian option available) will follow the first dive. After the necessary waiting time, participants will have a second dive to implement their newly acquired skills.

Upon completing the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course, participants will return to the dive centre and can return to their accommodation.

Diving at Manta Point

Participants have the option to complete their open water dives at Manta Point, near Nusa Penida, home to diverse underwater wildlife, including majestic manta rays.

Important Information

After the activity, it is essential to wait at least 18 hours before flying or ascending above 300 metres.
