PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is designed for beginners. It helps participants become more confident underwater.

Day 1: Theory & Confined Water Practice

The course lasts two days. On the first day, participants will meet at the dive centre in Nusa Lembongan for a theory lesson on equipment use and safety techniques. After a brief session, participants will practice their first dive in a pool, learning to breathe with the regulator, control buoyancy, and communicate underwater with the instructor.

Day 2: Open Water Scuba Diving

The next day, participants will again meet at the dive centre before boarding a boat to the open water dive site. The instructor will assist with equipment and safety procedures throughout the dive. The first dive will descend to a maximum depth of 12 metres, exploring coral reefs and marine life around Nusa Lembongan.

After the first dive, participants will enjoy lunch with coffee, tea, and fresh fruit (vegetarian option available). Following the required waiting period, a second dive will allow participants to apply their newly acquired skills.

At the end of the course, participants will return to the dive centre.

Diving at Manta Point

Participants have the option to conduct open water dives at Manta Point, near Nusa Penida, where they can dive alongside manta rays.

Important Information

After the activity, participants must wait at least 18 hours before boarding a plane or going above 300 metres above sea level.
