Dolphin Sighting Experience

Experience something very unique in the Indian Ocean and enjoy the beauty of the Knysna coastline on this dolphin-spotting activity. Discover the beauty of these animals!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Thesen Harbour Town. Here, you'll receive your lifejackets and a briefing about the activity. We will then walk to the Knysna harbour to board the boat for this amazing experience out among the dolphins.

We will sail along the Knysna estuary and arrive at the Knysna Heads cliffs, two significant rocks in the area. From there, we'll enter the vast Indian Ocean.

During the sail, there will be opportunities to spot three species of dolphin: bottlenose, common dolphin, and the humpback dolphin, the latter being an endangered species. In addition to dolphins, we may see Cape seals, African penguins, and even sharks.

Alongside the dolphin sighting, we will enjoy views of the Garden Route, known for its scenic beauty. After an hour and a half of sailing, we will return to the meeting point to conclude this experience.
