Dolphin Sighting Experience

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Thesen Harbour Town. Here, you'll receive your lifejackets and a briefing about the activity. Afterwards, we will proceed to the Knysna harbour to board the boat for this dolphin-spotting experience.

We'll sail along the Knysna estuary until we reach the Knysna Heads cliffs, two prominent rocks in the area. From there, we will enter the Indian Ocean.

During the sailing, we will search for three different dolphin species: the bottlenose, the common dolphin, and the humpback dolphin, the latter being an endangered species. Additionally, sightings may include Cape seals, African penguins, and sharks.

The tour also offers beautiful views of the coastline along the Garden Route, known for its scenic beauty. This experience will conclude after an hour and a half of sailing, returning to the meeting point.
