Dolphin Sighting Experience

Experience something very unique in the Indian Ocean and enjoy the beauty of the Knysna coastline on this dolphin-spotting activity. Discover the beauty of these animals!

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Thesen Harbour Town. Here, you'll be given your lifejackets and a short briefing about the activity. Afterwards, we'll walk to the Knysna harbour to board a boat and commence the dolphin-spotting experience.

We'll sail along the Knysna estuary until we reach the Knysna Heads cliffs, two prominent rocks in the area. From there, we will enter the Indian Ocean.

During the sailing, we'll look for three dolphin species: the bottlenose, common dolphin, and humpback dolphin, with the latter being an endangered species. Additionally, sightings may include Cape seals, African penguins, and sharks.

This tour also offers stunning views of the Garden Route, noted for its scenic beauty. After an hour and a half of sailing, we'll return to the meeting point to conclude this experience.
