Sail Rock Dive Site
Sail Rock is a renowned dive site in the Gulf of Thailand, accessible by boat from Koh Tao.
Important information
This activity is suitable for certified divers who have dived in the past 12 months. Beginners can opt for a diving activity off the coasts of Koh Tao.
Prior to the activity, all participants must visit the diving center before 2 pm the day before to present their diver certificate and fill out a form.
Sail Rock Scuba Diving Experience
The excursion departs from the diving center in Sairee Beach, where participants receive instructions before heading to Sail Rock, a pinnacle in the Gulf of Thailand.
During the approximately one and a half hour journey, complimentary drinks and snacks are provided. Two dives are conducted, with different depth options for divers.
Sail Rock offers diverse marine life including schools of fish, barracudas, corals, and the possibility of spotting a whale shark.
After two dives, the excursion returns to Sairee Beach approximately six hours later.
Additional information
If you are a certified diver but haven't dived in over a year, a scuba refresher class is available at an additional cost of 700 Thai bahts.
