Sail Rock Scuba Diving Experience

Essential Details

This experience is exclusively available for certified divers who have engaged in diving within the last year. For those new to diving, we suggest exploring our introductory diving options along the shores of Koh Tao.

It is mandatory to visit the diving center before 2 pm the day before your scheduled activity to present your official diver certification and complete a personal information form. Failure to do so will result in your inability to partake in the dive.

Scuba Diving Adventure at Sail Rock

Your adventure will commence at the designated time from the diving center situated at Sairee Beach. Following a brief orientation by your English-speaking instructor, you'll head to Sail Rock, a prominent geological feature in the Gulf of Thailand. The site, characterized by its diverse currents, is considered one of the premier diving spots in Southeast Asia.

The journey will take approximately an hour and a half, during which you will enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks on board. Upon arrival at Sail Rock, participants will be split into two groups: one for divers with an Open Water certification (allowing dives up to 18 meters) and another for advanced divers who can explore depths of up to 30 meters. Each group will undertake two dives.

Beneath the surface of Sail Rock, you will encounter a rich variety of marine life and ecosystems: from schools of vibrant fish and barracudas measuring up to 2 meters, to stunning coral formations. There’s even a chance to spot a whale shark, the largest fish species known for being harmless.

After completing the two dives, we will make our way back to Sairee Beach, concluding approximately six hours after our departure.

Additional Important Information

scuba refresher course. The cost for this course, payable on the day of the activity, is 700 Thai bahts (roughly 19 EUR).
