Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three speciality courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

After completing your PADI Open Water Course, you can advance your diving knowledge and skills through the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This includes five dives: two compulsory dives (deep diving and underwater navigation) and three additional dives chosen from the following specialities:

Please note that the Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver specialities require an additional fee, as indicated at the diving centre.

Day 1: Deep diving, underwater navigation and speciality

Pickup from your hotel in Koh Samui is at 7:30 am. We'll board a boat in the Gulf of Thailand for three dives: the two obligatory dives and one of your chosen specialities. The deep diving dive reaches a maximum depth of 30 metres, focusing on air pressure management. The underwater navigation dive will teach you to navigate using a compass. After completing the dives, return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialities

On the second day, you will also be picked up at the same time for two dives instead of three, based on your selected specialities. After completing all exercises, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

To qualify for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days and features a buffet of rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes hotel pickup from central Koh Samui. For hotels in the western or southern areas, an additional fee of 800 THB (approximately 26 USD) per person is required on the activity day. Alternatively, you may choose to arrive at the meeting point on your own.
