Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three specialty courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

Once you have completed your PADI Open Water Course, you can take the next step with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course to expand your knowledge and skills in diving.

This course includes five dives corresponding to different PADI specialty courses. Two of these dives are compulsory: deep diving and underwater navigation. You can select the other three specialties at the diving center from the following options:

The specialty courses involving Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver include an additional fee specified at the diving center.

Day 1: Deep Diving, Underwater Navigation and Specialty

On the first day, we will pick you up from your hotel in Koh Samui at 7:30 am and head to board a boat that will navigate through the Gulf of Thailand.

During this day, we will conduct three dives: the two obligatory dives and one of your chosen specialties. For the deep diving specialty, we will dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters, where you will learn how to manage air pressure and timing at these depths.

For the underwater navigation specialty, you will acquire the skills to navigate underwater using a compass, ensuring you can always find your way.

After completing the three dives, we will return to land and take you back to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialties

On the second day, we will once again pick you up at your hotel at the same time and follow a similar itinerary as the previous day. The difference is that today there will be two dives instead of three.

The dive locations will be selected based on the specialties you have opted for. Whether it’s photography, buoyancy, or fish identification, we assure you that it will be an incredible experience. These specialties will significantly enhance your diving knowledge and skills.

After completing all the exercises, we will return to the dive center, where you’ll receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and return to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

To obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have previously completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days. We will provide a delicious buffet-style lunch that includes rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Additional Information

This activity includes pick-up at hotels located in the center of Koh Samui. If you are staying in the western or southern areas of the island, an additional fee of 800 THB (approximately 26 USD) per person is required on the day of the activity.
