Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three specialty courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

After completing the PADI Open Water Course, you can advance your skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This course includes five dives: two compulsory dives (deep diving and underwater navigation) and three additional specialty dives chosen from various options at the diving center.

Note that the Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver specialties incur an additional fee at the diving center.

Day 1: Deep diving, underwater navigation and specialty

On Day 1, hotel pickup in Koh Samui begins at 7:30 am, leading to a boat trip in the Gulf of Thailand. Three dives will be conducted: the two compulsory ones and one chosen specialty. The deep diving specialty reaches a maximum depth of 30 metres, focusing on air pressure management. The underwater navigation specialty teaches compass orientation underwater. Return to the hotel is between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialties

Day 2 follows a similar schedule but includes only two dives. Dive locations will vary based on the selected specialties. After completing the required exercises, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate before returning to your hotel, also between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

To obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Lunch

Lunch is included during course days and consists of a buffet with rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes pickup from hotels in central Koh Samui. A fee of 800 THB (approximately 26 USD) per person applies for pickups from the western or southern parts of the island. Alternatively, you can meet at the designated point independently.
