Continue to improve your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You can also choose up to three speciality courses.

Advanced PADI Open Water Diver

After completing the PADI Open Water Course, you can expand your diving knowledge and skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This course involves five dives, including two compulsory ones: deep diving and underwater navigation. You will select three additional dives from the following options at the diving centre:

The courses for Nitrox air enriched diving and Sidemount diver incur an additional fee indicated at the diving centre.

Day 1: Deep diving, underwater navigation and speciality

On the first day, hotel pickup in Koh Samui will be at 7:30 am, followed by a boat ride through the Gulf of Thailand. You will complete three dives: the two compulsory dives and one chosen speciality. The deep diving speciality involves a maximum depth of 30 metres, while underwater navigation will teach compass orientation skills. Return to land is around 2:15 to 3:30 pm.

Day 2: Specialities

On the second day, also starting with a hotel pickup at 7:30 am, you will undertake two dives. Dive locations will be selected based on your chosen specialities. After completing all exercises, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and a return trip to your hotel between 2:15 and 3:30 pm.

Important Information

A prerequisite for obtaining the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate is completion of the PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days, featuring a buffet of rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes hotel pickup from central Koh Samui. An additional fee of 800 TBH (approx. 26 USD) will apply for pickups from western or southern areas. Alternatively, participants can travel to the meeting point independently.
