PADI Open Water Diving Course in Koh Samui

To become certified divers, you must first pass an online theory exam to start the practical section. We will send you the passwords in advance, allowing you to complete the course from home.

After completing the theory course, you'll meet at the Koh Samui dive center to start your PADI Open Water course.

Day 1: Confined waters practice

On the first day, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Koh Samui at 8:30 am to take you to the dive center. Here, you'll fill in a medical form and start the first practice session in confined waters.

You'll practice exercises such as assisting a companion if they run out of oxygen and other vital skills. After the session, we'll return you to your hotel at 2:45 pm.

Day 2 & 3: Dives in open waters

On the second and third days, we will conduct four dives in open waters, essential for completing your PADI Open Water course. We will pick you up from your hotel at 7 am each day to take you to the boat.

The dive sites will be Koh Tao and Sail Rock, depending on sea conditions. You'll practice important skills and explore the Gulf of Thailand's diverse marine life. Once all exercises are completed, you'll receive your PADI Open Water certificate and be returned to your hotel at 3:30 pm.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the course days. You will enjoy a buffet-style lunch with rice, noodles, salad, fish, and fresh fruit.

Important Information

This activity includes pick-up at hotels in central Koh Samui. An additional fee of 800 THB (approx. 26 USD) per person applies if you're staying in the western or southern areas. Alternatively, you may choose to make your own way to the meeting point.
