Meet your English-speaking guide at the main entrance of Rosenborg Castle, located in Copenhagen's historic centre. Begin your visit by exploring the beautiful gardens, featuring vibrant tulips and roses along the lake surrounding the fortress. Construction started in the 17th century under King Christian IV, known for his architectural projects and conquests. Learn about his legacy as you stroll through the historic site.

Inside, tour the palatial chambers and appreciate the detailed decoration of halls and bedrooms reflecting past fashions. View significant artworks and furnishings, including silver furniture and tapestries illustrating Danish war victories.

Visit the Schatzkammer, or Treasure Chamber, showcasing the Danish Crown Jewels and Crown Regalia. This collection, containing crowns, sceptres, tiaras, brooches, and necklaces from the 15th to 19th centuries, is still relevant today, as some pieces are worn by Queen Margrethe II. The tour concludes at the same archway where it began.

This guided tour does not include entrance to Rosenborg Castle. The admission ticket costs 110 DKK per person (approximately 15 EUR), with free entry for children under 17 years. Advance booking is recommended due to limited availability.
