Meet your English-speaking guide at the main entrance archway to Rosenborg Castle.

Begin your visit by exploring the beautiful gardens featuring tulips and roses surrounding the lake of the fortress. Construction started in the 17th century under King Christian IV's orders, and you will learn about his architectural projects and conquests.

Inside, visit the palatial chambers decorated according to past fashions. See art pieces that belonged to royalty, including silver furniture and tapestries of Danish war victories.

Explore the Schatzkammer, or Treasure Chamber, exhibiting the Danish Crown Jewels and Crown Regalia, including crowns, sceptres, tiaras, and jewels from the 15th to 19th centuries, some still worn by Queen Margrethe II.

Your tour concludes at the original meeting point.

Important information

This guided tour does not include entrance to Rosenborg Castle. Entrance costs 110 DKK (approximately 15 EUR), and children under 17 enter free. Booking in advance is recommended due to limited availability.
