Join us on a walk through the neighbourhood of Vesterbro to explore its history and beer culture.

Danish Beer Experience

We will meet at 15 Colbjørnsensgade, close to Copenhagen Central Station, to commence this Beer Walk, where you will learn about Copenhagen's history while tasting various local and craft beers.

The tour will take us through Vesterbro, a neighbourhood known for its vibrant past as the city’s former red-light district. Today, it is a popular residential area.

As we navigate the lively streets, we will sample specially curated beers and hear stories from Copenhagen’s past, including events from World War II, the Gypsy Brewer, Danish film villains, and beer rivalries.

Throughout the tour, participants will try 9 different beers, totaling approximately 1 litre per person. By the end of the experience, you will have gained knowledge about Danish beer and experienced a pleasant atmosphere.

The tour will conclude after 2 hours at the final pub, Åben, located in downtown Copenhagen.
