Äkäslompolo Ice Fishing

With this excursion, you'll learn how to ice fish like a local on a lake in Äkäslompolo while traveling by snowmobile.

Description

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head to our starting point. We will hop on snowmobiles and travel through snowy forests until we reach the location for ice fishing. This experience showcases the beauty of Äkäslompolo.

We will pass through trails in the snow-covered fields, enjoying the natural scenery. After the snowmobile ride, we'll arrive at a frozen lake where we will set up our fishing equipment.

We will dig a hole in the ice and wait for a fish to take the bait. The guide will provide helpful tips throughout the activity, ensuring you become proficient in ice fishing.

After fishing, we will return to the snowmobiles and head back to the starting point and then to your hotel, concluding the activity after a total of 4 hours.

Requirements

To drive the snowmobile, you must have a valid driver's license, which needs to be shown before the activity begins.

Children under four years old are allowed on the tour; however, it is not especially advisable for very young children.
