Äkäslompolo Ice Fishing

With this excursion, you'll learn how to ice fish on a lake in Äkäslompolo, traveling there by snowmobile.

Description

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head to our starting point. There, we will hop on snowmobiles and begin our journey through snowy forests to the ice fishing location, providing an authentic Lappish experience.

We will pass through snow-filled fields, appreciating the natural beauty of Äkäslompolo. After a scenic snowmobile ride, we will arrive at a frozen lake where we will set up our fishing gear.

Upon arrival, we will dig a hole in the ice and wait for a fish to take the bait. The guide will provide helpful tips throughout the activity, ensuring you will ice fish effectively in no time!

After this fishing experience, we will return to the snowmobiles and go back to the starting point, concluding the tour at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.

Requirements

To drive the snowmobile, you must have a valid driver's license, which needs to be shown before starting the activity.

Children under four years old are allowed on the tour, but it is not especially recommendable for such young children.
