Äkäslompolo Ice Fishing

With this excursion, you'll learn how to ice fish like a local on a lake in Äkäslompolo. Plus, you'll travel there by snowmobile!

Description

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head to our starting point. There, we'll hop on snowmobiles and travel through snowy forests to the ice fishing spot. We'll pass through the trails of snow-filled fields, admiring the natural beauty of Äkäslompolo. After a snowmobile ride, we'll arrive at a frozen lake, where we'll set up our fishing gear.

Leaving the snowmobiles behind, we'll dig a hole in the ice of the lake and wait for a fish to take the bait. The guide will provide tips and tricks throughout the activity. After this fishing experience, we'll return to the snowmobiles and head back to the starting point and then to your hotel, concluding the activity after a total of 4 hours.

Requirements

To drive the snowmobile, you'll need to have a valid driver's license, which you'll need to show before starting the activity. Children under four years old are permitted on the tour, but it's not especially recommended for such young children.
