Northern Lights Snowshoe Tour

At the designated time, you'll be picked up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and taken to the starting point. Here, thermal clothing and snowshoes will be provided for exploring the Lappish forests in search of the Northern Lights.

The tour will consist of walking through the snow while appreciating the Nordic landscapes. Participants will follow a route marked by the stars and keep an eye on the sky for glimpses of the aurora borealis, one of the world's most remarkable natural phenomena. This offers an engaging experience in the magic of the forests of Lapland.

A stop will be made along the way to rest and warm up with a hot drink, providing an opportunity to ask questions to the guide.

Once refreshed, the group will head back to the starting point and then return to your hotel, concluding the tour after a total duration of 3 hours.
