Experience a 5-kilometer journey on a sleigh drawn by husky dogs amidst the picturesque forests of Äkäslompolo, a remarkable adventure through stunning landscapes!

Husky Sleigh Adventure

At the arranged time, transportation will be provided from your accommodation in Äkäslompolo to a husky kennel, where you will meet your enthusiastic canine companions for the day.

Once we greet these incredible dogs, we'll board the sleigh for a unique expedition through the enchanting forest. This five-kilometer journey allows us to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking winter scenery of Lapland.

The sled accommodates two adults who will take turns; one will steer the sled while the other enjoys the ride, and then they'll swap roles.

As we traverse the trail, we’ll uncover a variety of fascinating insights about huskies, the resilient dogs of Nordic regions that thrive in cold climates. You’ll be impressed by the level of care these animals receive!

After approximately half an hour surrounded by nature’s beauty, we will return to the kennel to enjoy a warm drink by a welcoming campfire.

The experience concludes as we return you to your hotel, with the entire outing lasting about 2.5 hours.
