Husky Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!

Husky Sleigh Ride

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head to a husky kennel, where we'll meet the dogs.

After greeting the animals, we'll hop on board a sleigh for a five-kilometer ride through the forest, exploring the surroundings of Äkäslompolo while admiring the wintry landscapes of Lapland.

The sled will be shared between two adults who will alternate roles, with one driving and the other seated.

During the ride, we'll learn interesting facts about huskies, which are acclimated to low temperatures and receive daily care.

After a half-hour route, we'll return to the kennel to warm up with a hot drink next to a cozy campfire.

The activity will conclude with dropping you off at your hotel after approximately 2.5 hours.
