Husky Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!

Husky Sleigh Ride

At the designated time, transportation will be provided from your hotel in Äkäslompolo to a husky kennel, where you'll meet the dogs.

After greeting the animals, you'll board a sleigh for a special route through the forest. This five-kilometer ride will allow you to explore the surroundings of Äkäslompolo while admiring the wintry landscapes of Lapland.

The sled will accommodate two adults who will alternate roles as driver and passenger.

During the ride, you will learn interesting facts about huskies, a breed adapted to cold temperatures. The care provided to these dogs will also be highlighted.

After a half-hour in the natural setting, you will return to the kennel, where a hot drink will be served by a cozy campfire.

The activity concludes with a return to your hotel, lasting approximately 2.5 hours.
