Husky Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a 5-kilometer ride on a sleigh pulled by husky dogs through the forests of Äkäslompolo, an unforgettable journey through an incredible landscape!

Husky Sleigh Ride

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Äkäslompolo and head over to a husky kennel, where we'll meet the dogs.

After greeting the huskies, we'll hop on board a sleigh, embarking on a five-kilometer ride through the forest, exploring the surroundings of Äkäslompolo and admiring the wintry landscapes of Lapland.

The sled will be shared between two adults, who will alternate roles as driver and passenger.

Along the way, we'll learn about huskies, dogs typical of Nordic countries adapted to low temperatures. You'll gain insight into their daily care.

After a half-hour route, we'll return to the kennel to enjoy a hot drink next to a cozy campfire.

The activity concludes with a return to your hotel after approximately 2.5 hours.
