Join us to go snowshoeing through the forests of Ylläsjärvi in search of the northern lights, a unique way to see this natural phenomenon!
Northern Lights Snowshoeing Tour
At 8 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ylläsjärvi and drive to the outskirts of the town. As daylight fades, we'll prepare for our snowshoeing activity under the Northern Lights.
We'll put on snowshoes and learn the basics of walking with them, commonly used by the Lappish population. After familiarizing ourselves with the snowshoes, we'll walk through the forest in search of the Northern Lights.
Throughout the route, we will make several stops to admire this natural phenomenon. To warm up, we'll enjoy a hot drink accompanied by a typical Finnish snack.
After our snack, we'll return to the starting point to leave the snowshoes, concluding the tour at 10:30 pm back at your hotel.
