Join us for a snowshoeing adventure in Ylläsjärvi, aimed at observing the northern lights.
Northern Lights Snowshoeing Tour
At 8 pm, we will pick you up from your hotel in Ylläsjärvi and proceed to the outskirts of the town. As daylight diminishes, we will prepare for snowshoeing under the Northern Lights.
Participants will put on snowshoes and learn the basics of using these common accessories among the Lappish population. Once familiarized, we will walk through the forest searching for the Northern Lights.
We will take several stops during the route to enjoy the spectacular displays in the sky. To warm up, a hot drink and a typical Finnish snack will be provided.
Following our snack break, we will return to the starting point to remove the snowshoes. The tour concludes at 10:30 pm when we return to your hotel.
