Travel into the past with this fantastic trip to Ephesus from Smyrna. You'll visit the vestiges of one of the most impressive ancient cities in the Eastern Mediterranean.

We'll pick you up at the designated meeting point in Izmir at 8:30 am and travel in a comfortable minibus to the fascinating ancient city of Ephesus on the Ionian coast.

After a journey of one and a half hours, we'll reach the site of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the country. Once there, we'll take a guided tour to discover some of its monumental jewels, such as the Celso Library, one of the most luxurious bibliographic archives of the Roman Empire in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Another notable site during this tour of Ephesus is the Temple of Hadrian, built to honor the memory of the famous Hispanic emperor. Nearby is the impressive Roman Theater, which has a capacity for 24,000 people.

After touring Ephesus, we'll enjoy a delicious Turkish meal in a local restaurant. With appetites satisfied, we'll return to the minibus for our journey back to Izmir.

We'll complete the excursion by arriving back at the starting point at 4 pm.
