Discover the ruins of the ancient city of Pergamon on this excursion from Izmir. You'll visit its temples, library, palaces and, of course, the Asclepeion.

Pergamon Ruins Excursion

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Izmir. After boarding a comfortable minibus, we will travel to the Turkish province of Bergama.

After an hour and a half, we will arrive at the Greek city of Pergamon. You will explore the terraces, the acropolis, the temples dedicated to Greek and Roman gods, and the Altar of Zeus.

Next, we will visit the Asclepeion of Pergamon, a temple dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. Here, you will learn about ancient healing techniques.

The last stop will be the Archaeological Museum of Pergamon, where you will further explore the remnants of the city and its history.

We will then take you to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch, featuring typical dishes of the area.

After the tour, we will return to Izmir, arriving back at your hotel around 5 pm.
