Excursion to Priene, Miletus & Didyma

Your adventure commences at 8 am when we will collect you from your accommodation in Izmir. We’ll promptly embark towards our initial destination: Priene.

Turkey is home to numerous significant archaeological locations, and Priene is certainly among them. Upon arrival, you will wander the remnants of this historic Hellenistic city, which includes a visit to its remarkable Greek theater.

Subsequently, we will travel a short distance to the ancient site of Miletus. Here, you can meander through the ruins, uncovering its magnificent amphitheater, a Byzantine fortification, and the thermal baths from the Roman era, along with many other fascinating structures. Prepare to capture the essence of these sites in photographs!

Our next stop takes us to the ruins of Didyma, also referred to as Didymaion. Here, you will delve deeper into the region's history by visiting the illustrious Temple of Apollo and exploring the intriguing myths surrounding the deities.

Following this enriching experience, there will be time allocated for you to have lunch independently. We will then return to Izmir, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
