Tour of Korçë

At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Orthodox Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ to start this guided tour of Korçë. This cathedral served as a museum during the communist regime until it returned to its religious function in 2004. After admiring the facade, we'll pass by the Museum of Education, the site of the first school in the Albanian language established in 1887.

The tour will then continue in the Old Bazaar of Korçë, decorated in the Ottoman style, which is a major tourist attraction. Here, various items such as bags, clothes, lamps, cosmetics, spices, and porcelain can be found.

We'll visit some popular stalls before heading to the Mirahori Mosque and the Andon Zako Cajup Theater. The tour will conclude with a walk through the cobblestone streets of Korçë to the first brewery in Albania, established in 1928.

After a 2-hour tour, we'll finish by strolling through the central streets of the old town of Korçë.
