Tour Details
We'll meet at the entrance of the Old Fortress of Corfu to start this guided tour of the island's capital's most emblematic sites.
First, we'll stroll through the Boschetto Garden. Then, we’ll visit the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, which houses the Museum of Asian Art of Corfu.
Next, we'll walk along the pedestrian street of Listón to Spianada Square, the main square in Corfu's old town and one of Europe's largest squares, which sometimes hosts cricket games.
Afterwards, we'll see the Teatro di San Giacomo, the center of Greek opera from 1733 to 1893 and later the City Hall.
Lastly, we’ll explore the Jewish Quarter to learn about the Jewish community in Corfu, which dates back to the 12th century.
We will conclude this 2.5-hour tour close to the starting point in the old town.
