On this day trip to Nisiros from Kos, you will see the island of the black stones, which includes a visit to its volcano and the main town of the island– Mandraki.

Nisyros Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kos and head to the port of Kardamena for the ferry to the island of Nisyros.

We will sail for about an hour, then visit the famous volcano Nisyros. You will have about 45 minutes to learn about the crater and its formation, including that its last eruption was in 1888, and about the boiling holes present today.

After the volcano, we will take you to the island's main town, Mandraki. Here, you will have two hours of free time to explore, visit the Panagia Spiliani monastery, and have lunch at local restaurants.

Finally, we will return by ferry to Kos, concluding the tour at your hotel after approximately 8 hours of sightseeing.
