- 3 - 4 Tage
- 5 Bewertungen
On this Borneo Private Cruise with Orangutan Watching, you'll have a 3-day adventure on a comfortable superior category boat in the jungle.
Description
Day 1: Pangkalan Bun - Kumai - Tanjung Harapan
On the first day, we will pick you up in Pangkalan Bun at the agreed time and travel to Kumai. Our superior category boat will take us on a cruise along the Sekonyer River towards Tanjung Harapan National Park, where we may see our first orangutans.
Day 2: Tanjung Harapan
On the second day, we will explore Tanjung Harapan National Park in search of orangutans. We will visit two different reserves to watch the orangutans, gibbons, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and other endemic species. In the evening, we will dock near a proboscis monkey colony or nipa palm area, where fireflies will light up the jungle.
Day 3: Tanjung Harapan - Pangkalan Bun
After breakfast on the boat, we will return to Pangkalan Bun and take you back to the airport or your hotel.
4-day cruise
If you prefer to spend an extra day exploring the province of Kalimantan, we recommend our 4-day private cruise, which includes another day with the orangutans in Tanjung Harapan National Park.
Accommodation
During the cruise, you'll stay on a 62-foot (19-meter) long private, superior-category cruise ship accommodating five passengers (two in an extra bed). It has a lower deck fixed cabin and a mobile upper deck cabin at night, along with air-conditioning and a private bathroom.
Important! Availability
Due to high demand during July, August, and September, please contact us before booking to confirm availability.
Private cruise for backpackers
If there's no availability, consider booking another private cruise in Borneo with orangutan watching and an English-speaking guide, suitable for a backpacker experience on a tighter budget. This cruise will be on a standard category boat.
