On this excursion to the Black Lake, Ostrog Monastery and Žabljak we'll explore the most iconic landscapes. We'll learn all about the history and nature of northern Montenegro.

Black Lake, Ostrog Monastery + Žabljak Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 284 of Stari Grad and board a minibus to explore the landscapes and villages of northern Montenegro.

First, we'll make two short photo stops in the villages of Perast and Risan. Afterward, we'll arrive in Nikši?, where you'll be free to have breakfast at your leisure before heading to the ?ur?evi?a Tara Bridge. The huge concrete arches will impress as it is located in one of the deepest canyons in Europe.

Next, we'll visit the town of Žabljak, where you'll have one hour of free time to grab a bite to eat. We'll then drive through the Durmitor National Park to Black Lake, where you'll have another hour free for swimming and hiking. It is the largest lake in the national park, surrounded by high mountains and forests.

Finally, we'll visit the Ostrog Monastery, an important monument of the Orthodox Church from the 17th century. We will conclude the excursion back at the starting point after an adventure of approximately 13-14 hours.
