Ao Thalane Kayak Tour

Choose between a half-day and a full-day kayak tour when booking. Both options include pickup from your hotel, an English-speaking guide, kayaking equipment, and lunch.

Half-Day Kayak Tour

After hotel pickup, we will drive for 30 minutes to the fishing village of Ao Thalane. Once there, we will explain kayak usage before exploring this renowned kayaking area. You will navigate through lush mangrove swamps, limestone canyons, and caves, learning about the local fish and crustacean species. At the end of the tour, we return to Krabi and drop you off at your hotel.

Full-Day Kayak Tour

The full-day tour includes hotel pickup and a boat ride to Ao Thalane. After a kayak usage briefing, you will explore the mangroves and canyons. Following 1 hour for lunch, you will have an additional 2 hours to kayak at your leisure. At the end of the day, we drop you off at your hotel.

Pickup and schedules

Tour pickup is included in Krabi Town, Klong Muang, and Ao Nang. Pickup from Ao Nang is free for two or more people, otherwise, it's 100THB per person. Klong Muang pickup costs 100THB per person, paid to the driver. The starting times are:

Half-day tour: 8:30 am or 1:30 pmFull-day tour: 8:30 am

Guided Service

If you lack kayaking experience, a guide can be requested for 300THB per person, payable on-site.
