Discover the best beaches of the Hong Islands with this excursion from Krabi, including a chance to see bioluminescent plankton.

Hong Islands Excursion + Bioluminescent Plankton

After pickup at your hotel in Krabi at 12 pm, we will head to the port of Ao Nang to begin the excursion to the Hong Islands. This archipelago is among the most visited in Thailand, known for its beaches and natural environment.

As we sail through Phang Nga Bay, the stunning scenery will unfold until we arrive at Hong Island, featuring its well-known blue lagoon. You will receive all necessary equipment to snorkel and explore the marine biodiversity.

We will then proceed to Phak Bia Island, where you will enjoy a buffet dinner, including barbecued vegetables, rice, grilled meats, soft drinks, mineral water, and fresh fruit. You can watch the sun set over the sea.

Subsequently, we will return to the boat and travel to an area where, with luck, you may witness the area's famous bioluminescent plankton. The blue light emitted by these microorganisms can be seen as you move in the water.

We will conclude the tour and return to Krabi, with arrival at your hotel by 7:30 pm.
