SSI Open Water Diver Course

Day 1: Confined waters

The course begins at 10 am at the dive center, focusing on learning basic techniques of SSI Open Water Diving. After two hours of practice, there will be a two-hour lunch break (not included). The session resumes at 2 pm for two hours of diving in confined waters, finishing at 6 pm.

Day 2: Scuba diving

Participants meet at 7:20 am or 1:20 pm, based on their choice. Equipment will be provided, followed by a one-hour dive around Koh Phi Phi Le. After a short break, a second hour of diving will take place to explore coral reefs and observe tropical fish. Completion of around four and a half hours of diving allows participants to take a test for the SSI Open Water certificate, concluding the day back at the meeting point.

Day 3: Scuba diving

On the third day, participants will experience two one-hour dives in the waters of Koh Phi Phi Lee, with starting times selected during booking.

Scuba diving theory

Upon reservation, a dossier with the theory of scuba diving will be provided for home study, and it must be brought on the first day of the course.

Who can participate in this activity?

A swimming test of 200 meters freestyle with no time limit is required on the first day.
