At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the front door of St. Mary's Basilica to start a tour that will take you back to the communist era in Krakow. During the guided tour, we'll visit the most important monuments of the communist period.

We'll go back to the end of the German occupation after the Second World War, to the birth of the Polish People's Republic. Walking around the exterior of the Universities of Science and Technology and the University of Agriculture, we'll see sculptures that will provide insight into the importance of communism in Krakow and Poland.

Throughout the tour, our expert guide will address the way of life of the Polish population during this period, the establishment of socialism in Poland, and the city's development under this regime. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the history of Krakow.

We'll also pass through areas where the Polish communist regime enacted repression against the population, learning about some of the darkest episodes in Krakow's history.

We'll visit the headquarters of the Solidarity trade union and some old factories near the city center. Additionally, we'll stop at one of Krakow's famous milk bars, representative of life at that time.
