On this guided tour of the P?aszów Concentration Camp, we will uncover the history that inspired key scenes in Schindler's List. This site bears witness to the Holocaust and the actions of Commandant Amon Göth. A walk through the area offers insight into a significant historical past.
Tour Details
We will meet at the designated time next to the Apteka Pod Or?em museum at Heroes' Square. From this location, we will begin our tour focused on the history of the P?aszów Concentration Camp.
The tour will start with a visit to the Ghetto Memorial and the renowned Eagle Pharmacy, symbols of resistance during the Nazi regime. We will also stop at Lwowska Street, where remnants of the wall that once segregated the Jewish ghetto from the city can be observed.
A tram will take us two stops to the P?aszów Concentration Camp site, where we will explore Jerozolimska Street, seeing the camp railway station, warehouses, officers' clubhouse, and barracks. Additionally, we will view the ruins of the Jewish pre-burial hall.
We will visit the "Grey House", known as a torture centre, and pass by the villa of Amon Göth. The tour includes the former Jewish cemetery, the roll-call square, and significant sites such as H-Hill and C-Pit, home to the Torn Hearts monument honoring the victims.
Before returning to central Kraków by bus, we will view the second entrance gate to the camp. After two hours of exploration, we will conclude the tour in the Kamie?skiego area.

We will travel from Kraków to P?aszów via tram and return by public bus. The total ticket cost is approximately 4PLN.
