Schindler's List Film Tour of Krakow
The tour begins at the Remuh Synagogue on Szeroka Street, marking the start of this guided walking tour of Krakow.
The walking tour primarily explores the Kazimierz Quarter, a neighborhood that housed a significant Jewish population before World War II. The tour includes visits to key locations where scenes from Schindler's List were filmed, as selected by director Steven Spielberg.
The film depicts the Nazi atrocities in this region, with one notable scene featuring the little girl in the red coat, which we will see at its original filming location. Additionally, we will visit the real home of businessman Oskar Schindler.
The tour concludes in Kazimierz, where we will reflect on other film scenes, including Oskar Schindler's line, "Whoever saves one life, saves the whole world".
