Tour of Wawel Royal Hill

At the scheduled time, we will meet on Kanonicza street, renowned for the discovery of a major treasure in Polish history. Our walk will begin as we proceed up the charming cobblestone street toward Wawel Hill.

Upon arrival, we will view two essential historical buildings: the cathedral and the castle of Wawel. The guide will share important Polish historical facts and secrets regarding the royals while we admire these monuments.

During our tour, we will also discuss intriguing stories, such as the alchemical experiments of Sigismund III Vasa that resulted in the largest fire of Wawel Castle and its aftermath. Additionally, we will visit the site where the only bomb dropped on Wawel during World War II landed, and learn about the famous Wawel Hill dragon, which offers a beautiful panoramic view of southern Krakow. Be prepared to take photos!
