Join us on the guided tour of Wawel Hill, a significant historical site in Poland where Polish royalty reigned for centuries.
Tour Details
We'll meet at Kanonicza Street, the site of Poland's greatest historical treasure. The tour begins as we walk up this charming cobblestone street towards Wawel Hill.
Upon arrival, we'll explore two key historical buildings: the cathedral and the castle of Wawel. A local guide will provide insights into Polish historical facts and secrets regarding the royals.
As we explore, we'll hear stories about Sigismund III Vasa's alchemical experiments, which led to the fire of Wawel Castle, as well as the location of the only bomb dropped on Wawel during World War II. The famous Wawel Hill dragon offers a beautiful panoramic view of southern Krakow. Make sure to take photos!
The tour lasts an hour and a half.
