We will meet at the designated time on Kanonicza Street, where a notable discovery in Polish history was made. Our journey begins as we walk up the cobblestone street toward Wawel Hill.
Upon arrival, we will explore two of Krakow's vital historical structures: the cathedral and the castle of Wawel. A local guide will share key historical facts and royal secrets as we appreciate these landmarks.
Our exploration will include captivating stories, such as the alchemical experiments conducted by Sigismund III Vasa, which resulted in the largest fire at Wawel Castle and its repercussions. We will also visit the site where the only bomb dropped on Wawel during World War II landed and the renowned Wawel Hill dragon, offering expansive views of southern Krakow.
