Zakopane Excursion + Treetop Walk Bachledka

On this excursion, we'll cross the border into Slovakia for a hiking tour through the Treetop Walk Bachledka and visit the Polish town of Zakopane.

Zakopane Excursion + Treetop Walk Bachledka

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Krakow and drive to the village of Ždiar, a minibus ride of about two and a half hours.

Once at our destination, we will start a 40-minute hiking route to the Treetop Walk Bachledka. This wooden platform, standing around 60-80 feet (18-24 meters) high, allows for an overview of the Bachledka Valley from above the treetops.

During the walk, we'll enjoy views of the Slovakian forests, Tatra Mountains, and Pieniny National Park. In winter, the snow-covered landscape will be striking.

We will return from the Treetop Walk Bachledka by slide or on foot, based on your preference, and head back to the minibus. We will then cross the border back into Poland to visit Zakopane.

Zakopane is recognized as the winter capital of Poland and is popular for skiing during cold months. You will have two and a half hours of free time to explore the town.

Activities in Zakopane include a ride on a horse-drawn carriage, shopping for handicrafts on Krupowki street, enjoying local cuisine, and viewing the beautiful wooden houses.

After free time, we will regroup and conclude the tour at 8 pm, dropping you off at your hotel.
