Harman and Prejmer Trip
At 9 am, participants will meet in the old town center of Brasov and board a bus. After a 30-minute journey, the tour will commence at the church of Prejmer.
At this World Heritage Church, visitors will learn about the Teutonic Knights and their reasons for constructing these churches in the 13th century. The architecture and the interior courtyard are highlights of this stop.
Following the guided tour, there will be half an hour of free time for personal exploration. It is recommended to bring a camera for photos.
Afterwards, the tour continues to the fortified church of Harman, located 20 minutes from Prejmer. This church features a circular structure and strong defensive walls. Visitors will discover that the main threat to medieval Transylvania’s inhabitants was not Count Dracula but another formidable enemy.
After the tour of Harman church, there is an additional 30 minutes of free time for further exploration. The tour concludes with a return to Brasov, expected around 1 pm.
