Peleș + Cantacuzino Castles Tour

Are you familiar with Transylvania's heritage? On this trip from Brasov, we'll enter Romania's heartland to visit Pele? and Cantacuzino Castles.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Brasov and travel south towards Sinaia, one of the most beautiful towns in Transylvania.

After a 50-minute journey, we'll arrive at Sinaia for a guided tour of Pele? Castle, the former residence of Romanian royalty in the 19th century. We'll explore the conserved rooms with their furniture and decorations.

Following the castle visit, we'll take a short panoramic tour of Sinaia, including the Sinaia Monastery, founded in 1695, and the Old Church. You'll have approximately 45 minutes for lunch in Sinaia's historic centre.

After lunch, we'll head north to the Cantacuzino Castle for another guided tour. Built in the neoroman style, this early 20th-century fortress features Roman mosaics and Murano glass chandeliers.

Once the tour concludes, we'll return to the hotels in Brasov, completing the tour after about 6.5 hours.
