On this hiking tour through the Piatra Craiului National Park, we will explore one of the most unspoiled natural environments in Romania, located in the Carpathian Mountains.

We will pick you up at 8:30 am from your hotel in Brasov and drive for an hour and a half to the national park. Upon arrival, we will begin a hike through an area of gorges, forests, and pastures.

The hiking route is of medium difficulty, lasting between 5-7 hours. It involves crossing rocky areas, pine forests, and visiting villages that maintain their traditional character.

During the hike, we will pass through the Zarnesti Gorge while discussing the significance of shepherding and traditional cheese production in the area, providing insight into the local culture and stunning views.

We will take a break for lunch at a mountain hut or a village, where you can enjoy the food you’ve packed.

After completing the hike, we will return to your hotel in Brasov, concluding a total experience of 5 to 6 hours.
