Your day begins at 8:30 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Brasov, as we set off towards Piatra Craiului National Park. Are you prepared to delve into the core of the Romanian Carpathians?

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will reach this breathtaking national park, an area that remains largely untouched in the modern era. Here, our hike commences through a harmonious blend of gorges, forests, and lush pastures – a striking representation of Romania's enduring natural beauty!

This journey presents a medium-level hiking challenge, spanning about 5 to 7 hours. We will navigate through stunning rocky terrains, fragrant pine woods, and quaint villages that appear to be suspended in time.

Our path includes the stunning Zarnesti Gorge, where you’ll gain insights into the significance of local shepherding traditions and the art of cheese-making that thrives in this region. Prepare to be captivated by the magnificent vistas surrounding you!

Along the way, we will pause at a mountain hut or one of the idyllic villages to enjoy a lunch break with the meal you have prepared.
