Your adventure begins with a pickup from your lodging in Brasov at the specified time, setting the stage for this captivating excursion to St. Anna Lake. Did you know this remarkable lake is the sole volcanic lake in Eastern Europe? Its picturesque views are bound to enchant you!

After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on the road, we'll reach our destination and commence a guided walk through the Ciomatu Mountains, part of the Eastern Carpathians, positioned at an elevation of 3,117 feet (950 meters) above sea level.

During our hike, we will share intriguing details about this unique location that formed within the crater of a volcano that last erupted around 32,000 years ago. Over time, it has emerged as one of the top attractions in Transylvania, appreciated not only for its natural beauty but also for the myths that surround it!

This area is also a protected habitat, allowing visitors to spot carnivorous plants, miniature conifers, and a variety of other flora that flourish during the summer months!

Our final destination will be Balvanyos, where we will embark on a stroll to discover the "stinking caves" and the "bird cemetery". Uncover the stories behind these intriguing names during your visit!

After 8-10 hours of exploration and discovery, we will make our way back to Brasov.
