Batu Caves Day Trip
The tour begins with hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur at the designated time, followed by a visit to a pewter workshop, known for its flexible materials used by craftsmen for centuries. Visitors can see the largest pewter beer jug in the world.
Next, the tour proceeds to a local factory of Batik fabrics, showcasing a prominent craft industry in the area.
The route continues to the Batu Caves, where we will spend an hour. This site features a series of grottoes and caverns atop a sacred hill, recognized as the most famous Hindu sanctuary in Asia outside India.
To access the caves, visitors must climb 272 steps, which are adorned with sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses. Afterward, the tour covers the notable golden statue of Murugan, a 42-meter tall sculpture with a remarkable construction story.
Following the Batu Caves tour, participants will be returned to their hotel in Kuala Lumpur, concluding the 3.5-hour trip.
