Batu Caves Day Trip
- 3 Stunden
Just 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, this Batu Caves day trip takes in famous sanctuaries in Malaysia.
Batu Caves Day Trip
The trip begins with a pickup at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, followed by a visit to a pewter workshop. Here, you can see the largest pewter beer jug in the world. Next, the tour proceeds to a local factory of Batik fabrics, a significant craft industry in the region.
The route continues to the Batu Caves, where the group will stay for an hour. The site consists of a series of grottoes and caverns atop a sacred hill, recognized as the most famous Hindu sanctuary in Asia outside of India.
To access the interior, participants must ascend 272 steps. This effort is rewarded by the sight of caves adorned with sculptures of Hindu deities, each intricately designed. After exploring, the story of the great Murugan golden statue, a 42-meter high representation of the god of war and victory, will be shared.
Once the guided tour concludes, the return trip to Kuala Lumpur begins.
