Batu Caves Day Trip

  • 3 Stunden

Just 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, this Batu Caves day trip takes in some of the most famous sanctuaries in Malaysia in one unmissable excursion.

Batu Caves Day Trip

The day trip begins with hotel pickup in Kuala Lumpur, followed by a visit to a pewter workshop. Visitors can see the largest pewter beer jug in the world. Next, the tour continues to a local Batik fabric factory, an important craft industry in the region.

After these stops, we proceed to the Batu Caves, spending one hour there. The site consists of grottoes and caverns on a sacred hill, recognized as the most famous Hindu sanctuary in Asia outside of India.

To enter the caves, participants must climb 272 steps, showcasing sculptures of Hindu deities with intricate ornamentation. Upon descending, the tour includes information about the Murugan golden statue, a 42-meter tall sculpture representing the god of war and victory, notable for its construction on hilly terrain.

Concluding the Batu Caves visit, the tour returns to Kuala Lumpur.
