With numerous government buildings and other monuments on the banks of a lake, Putrajaya is one of Malaysia's notable cities.

Half-Day Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, you will travel to Putrajaya, located 35 minutes from the city. Established in the mid-1990s as the new government seat due to overcrowding, it accommodates most government ministries.

Your first stop will be Lake Putrajaya, where you will enjoy a relaxing ride on a traditional boat to appreciate the scenic surroundings. Next, you will visit the Putra Mosque, known for its Islamic artwork and geometrical shapes. Constructed from rose-tinted granite and topped with a large pink dome, it can accommodate up to 15,000 people, and its minaret, at 380 feet (116 m), is among the tallest in the world.

Adjacent to the mosque is Perdana Putra, the Malaysian Prime Minister's office complex, notable for its turquoise cupolas. Your half-day tour concludes as you head back to Kuala Lumpur via the Putra Bridge, recognized as an engineering marvel. You will be dropped off at your hotel approximately 4 hours after pickup.
