Half-Day Trip to Putrajaya

  • 4 Stunden

With numerous government buildings and monuments on the banks of a picturesque lake, Putrajaya is one of Malaysia's notable cities.

Description

After being picked up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur at 9:30 am, you'll head to Putrajaya, located 35 minutes from the capital. Established in the mid-1990s as the new seat of government, it houses most of the country's governmental ministries.

Your first stop will be Lake Putrajaya, where you will enjoy a relaxing boat ride. Next, you'll visit Putra Mosque, an impressive structure with Islamic artwork, a rose-tinted granite exterior, and a large pink dome that accommodates up to 15,000 people, featuring one of the tallest minarets globally at 380 feet (116 m).

Adjacent to the mosque is Perdana Putra, the Malaysian Prime Minister's office complex, known for its turquoise cupolas. The tour concludes as you return to Kuala Lumpur via the Putra Bridge, an engineering marvel, with a drop-off at your hotel around 1:30 pm.
