Kuala Selangor Day Trip

Having picked you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we'll head to Kuala Selangor, about an hour from the Malaysian capital. Our first stop will be Bukit Melawati hill, featuring remnants of an 18th-century fort with original cannons, where we can enjoy views of the Western coast of the Malay peninsula.

Next, we will have a typical dinner at a local restaurant.

Following dinner, the tour continues to Kampung Kuantan, known for its large populations of fireflies, making it one of the most famous colonies of these insects in the world. We will take a boat trip around the Selangor River to observe the fireflies illuminating the riverbanks, a fascinating spectacle.

After our cruise, we will return to Kuala Lumpur, concluding the tour 8 hours after our departure.
