Kuala Selangor Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, we will travel to Kuala Selangor, located an hour from the city. Our first stop will be Bukit Melawati hill, which features the remains of an 18th-century fort and original cannons, offering views of the Western coast of the Malay peninsula.

Next, we will have a typical dinner at a local restaurant. The excursion continues to Kampung Kuantan, known for its large populations of fireflies, making it one of the most famous firefly colonies in the world. We will take a boat trip on the Selangor River to witness the fireflies illuminating the riverbanks.

After the cruise, we will return to Kuala Lumpur, concluding the tour approximately 8 hours after departure.

This tour includes pickup from hotels within half a kilometer of the center of Kuala Lumpur. If your accommodation is farther away, you will need to reach the designated meeting point on your own.
