Malacca Day Trip

The former Portuguese colony of Malacca, also known as Melaka, has a rich history. This full-day trip from Kuala Lumpur explores its UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and drive to Malacca, taking approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the historic center of Malacca will commence, starting with St. Peter's Church, the oldest Roman Catholic church in Malaysia. Next, we will visit Santiago Gate, the last remnant of the fortress of A Famosa.

We will also explore the Malacca Museum and Red Square, known for its striking monuments, including Christ Church. Afterward, a traditional Malaysian lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, we will visit Jonker Street and the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine in Malaysia.

The tour concludes with a scenic river walk before returning to Kuala Lumpur, with hotel arrival expected about 10 hours after pickup.

For those preferring to dine independently in Malacca, you can choose the option without lunch, which includes one hour of free time for self-arranged meals.

Hotel Pickup

This tour provides pickup from hotels in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, excluding specific areas. Guests in other locations will be picked up from Berjaya Times Square Shopping Centre.

Pickup is available for a minimum of 2 persons. For one-person bookings, pickup is at the designated meeting point. An extra fee of 50RM per person applies for pickups outside specified areas.

Partial Closures

Note that St. Peter's Church and Red Square are closed on Mondays, and church entry requires appropriate attire.
