The historically rich city of Malacca, previously a Portuguese colony, boasts a captivating past. Explore the heritage of this UNESCO World Heritage Site on an immersive full-day excursion from Kuala Lumpur.

Trip Overview

At the appointed time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Kuala Lumpur and commence the journey to Malacca, noted as one of the most historically significant cities in Malaysia.

After a 2-hour drive, we will reach the historic district, where an engaging guided exploration of Malacca’s old town awaits. Our first stop will be St. Peter's Church, recognized as the oldest Roman Catholic church in Malaysia. Following this, we will delve into the Portuguese influence at the Santiago Gate, the sole remnant of the ancient fortress of A Famosa.

Next, we will visit the Malacca Museum, complemented by a stroll through Red Square, renowned for its stunning red-hued landmarks. Among the striking structures, the Christ Church stands out, providing a perfect opportunity to further understand Malacca’s vibrant historical narrative.

To refuel, we will enjoy a typical Malaysian lunch at a local eatery. Once we finish our meal, we will head over to Jonker Street, the main shopping area in Malacca, and also pass by the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest Buddhist temple in the country.

The tour will conclude with a pleasant walk along the river before we begin our return to Kuala Lumpur, where we anticipate arriving back at your hotel about 10 hours after our initial pickup.

Alternative Option Without Lunch

If you prefer to dine independently in Malacca, an option without lunch is available. In this case, one hour of free time will be granted for dining while the rest of the group is enjoying their meal.

Pickup Information

This tour features pickup from hotels located in the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur, excluding the areas of Pudu, ChowKit, KL Sentral, Brickfields, Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown Hotel, Olympic Malaysia Hotel, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel, and YWCA Kuala Lumpur Hotel.

If your accommodation is outside these areas, we will arrange pickup from the main entrance of the Berjaya Times Square Shopping Centre at the designated time.

Please note that pickup service is only provided for a minimum reservation of 2 persons. If you are booking for a single person, you will be expected to meet at the specified meeting point.

For pickups outside the mentioned meeting locations within Kuala Lumpur, an additional charge of 50RM per person will apply.

Partial Closures

St. Peter's Church and Red Square are closed on Mondays. Additionally, please be aware that shorts are not permitted inside the church.

Essential Information

It is important to note that if you have made a booking for the activity on October 3 and 4, 2026, hotel pickup will not be available due to an event in the city affecting road accessibility and traffic flow.

During these dates, we will convene at the scheduled time at the main entrance of Berjaya Times Square shopping mall.
