Upon booking, you can select between the two excursions outlined below. Both options commence and conclude at your Maui hotel and come with an English-speaking guide along with entry to the national park.

Haleakal? Sunrise Expedition (9 hours 30 minutes)

Haleakal? translates to House of the Sun, and watching the sunrise from this location promises an extraordinary experience. After collecting you from your hotel at the predetermined time, we will embark on our journey to this volcano during the early hours.

As we navigate through a sea of clouds, our ascent to Haleakal?, a dormant volcano aged over a million years, will be a scenic adventure. During this ride, we will share insights on the significant cultural importance this site has held for Polynesian people through the ages.

Upon reaching the summit of Haleakal?, we'll witness nature's spectacle as the sun gradually rises, illuminating the volcano’s peaks and the clouds below. This will surely be one of the most breathtaking sunrises you'll ever witness!

Next, we'll stop by the Haleakal? Visitor Center, where you can observe the unique silversword plant along with other indigenous species such as the N?n? goose.

As we begin our descent through Maui's interior, a delightful stop for a full breakfast at Café O Lei at the Plantation awaits. Featuring pancakes topped with Macadamia nuts or various dietary alternatives, it's a treat not to miss.

Before heading back to your hotel, we'll enjoy breakfast at a lodge that offers splendid views of Maui's coastline.

Haleakal? Sunset Expedition (7 hours)

If your preference leans towards a sunset instead of a sunrise, this tour is tailor-made for you. While the itinerary mirrors that of the previous journey, it takes place later in the day.

We'll arrive at the Haleakal? National Park Visitor Center during daylight to witness the sun setting gracefully on the horizon. As we still have sunlight, we will explore the distinctive plant life in the region. You'll see flora such as silversword plants, which thrive exclusively here. Afterwards, sit back and absorb the beauty of an unforgettable sunset.

We will provide you with a dinner to take away, followed by our return to your hotel.
