Sunrise or Sunset Trip to the Haleakal? Volcano

When booking, choose between two trips, both starting and ending at your hotel in Maui, including an English-speaking guide and admission to the national park.

Haleakal? Sunrise Trip (9 hours 30 minutes)

Haleakal? means "House of the Sun." The trip begins with a hotel pickup in the early morning. Travel through the sea of clouds to Haleakal?, a dormant volcano formed around a million years ago, while discussing its sacred significance to Polynesians.

At the summit, wait for the sunrise as it casts rays over the volcano and clouds. Visit the Haleakal? Visitor Center to see rare silversword plants and the N?n? goose.

On the descent, enjoy a complete breakfast at Café O Lei at the Plantation, with options including pancakes with Macadamia nuts. Before returning to your hotel, have breakfast at a lodge with views of Maui's coastline.

Haleakal? Sunset Trip (7 hours)

Opt for a sunset tour instead. The itinerary is similar, but occurs in the evening. Visit the Haleakal? National Park Visitor Center during the day to see unique flora, such as silversword plants, and relax during an unforgettable sunset.

Lastly, you will be provided with dinner to take home before returning to your hotel.
