Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the cruise port of Kusadasi to embark on a journey to Ephesus, a revered archaeological wonder in Turkey.
This cruise will take us to the remarkable site of Ephesus, an ancient Greco-Roman city known for its remarkably preserved state. We will traverse the ruins and uncover highlights such as the Library of Celsus, the Roman Theater, and the Temple of Hadrian.
During the tour, interesting facts will be shared about Ephesus, including its role as the main commercial centre of the Mediterranean with a population of 200,000.
Afterwards, there is an optional visit to the Hillside House, where you can explore remains, mosaics, and frescoes, and learn about the lifestyle of Ephesus' inhabitants, including heating systems and shops.
To conclude the excursion, we'll visit a local leather factory and, time permitting, the Kusadasi market, where you'll have free time to browse local handicrafts.
Finally, we will return you to Kusadasi Port, concluding our 6-hour adventure.
