Next, a guided tour of the Ephesus archaeological site follows, featuring well-preserved ruins. Highlights include the Library of Celsus, notable as one of the most impressive Roman buildings, originally built to serve as the mausoleum for Tiberius Julius Celsus and to house over 10,000 scrolls.
Tourgoers will visit the Temple of Hadrian and the Roman Theatre of Ephesus, which is exceptionally preserved.
Afterward, a break for lunch in the town of Selçuk will feature local specialties, followed by a visit to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the Isa Bey Mosque from the 14th century.
