Private Day Trip to Ephesus + Wine Tasting
- 6 Stunden
Ancient Greco-Roman culture extended its influence to western Anatolia, which will be explored during this private excursion to Ephesus, complemented by a Turkish wine tasting.
Tour itinerary: Explore the Greco-Roman city of Ephesus
We will collect you from your hotel in Kusadasi at the designated time and drive for half an hour to Ephesus, a historic Greco-Roman city in Anatolia and a World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, a guided tour of Ephesus will take place, showcasing significant remnants such as the Library of Celsus, the theater, and the Odeon.
Following this, we will visit the Temple of Hadrian, explore the ancient latrines, and stop at the Fountain of Trajan, dedicated to the first Hispanic emperor of the Roman Empire.
After the tour of Ephesus, we will visit nearby vineyards and stop at a local winery for a tasting of seven Turkish wines paired with regional products. You can further explore local wine culture, with an option to purchase a lunch at the winery.
Our journey concludes with a return to your hotel in Kusadasi, with an estimated arrival six hours after the initial pickup.
