At the appointed time we'll meet at 1 Rooi Street to start a tour where nature and wine merge perfectly. Are you ready for a hiking tour in the Banhoek Valley and a visit to a winery? Let's get started!

First, we'll explore the Banhoek Valley as we walk through this natural area of Stellenbosch. During the 9-kilometer (5.5 miles) route, we'll have beautiful panoramic views of the mountains.

The hiking route is also ideal to learn about the environmental conservation work being done by the Banhoek Conservancy project, which aims to improve the community and restore the balance between human activities and nature.

If we're lucky, we may see animals like bontebokkes and elands, two species of antelopes. After the walking tour, we'll visit the Oldenburg Vineyards where we'll learn about South African wine.

We'll conclude the day with an exquisite wine tasting accompanied by cheese. Finally, we'll take you back by minibus to the starting point after a four-hour excursion.
