At the appointed time we'll meet at 1 Rooi Street to start a tour where nature and wine merge perfectly. The hiking tour in the Banhoek Valley and a visit to a winery will commence as we explore the Banhoek Valley in Stellenbosch.

During the 9-kilometer (5.5 miles) route, participants will experience panoramic views of the mountains in this region. The hiking route offers insights into the Banhoek Conservancy project, which aims to enhance community well-being and restore balance between human activities and nature.

Wildlife enthusiasts may spot local species, such as bontebokkes and elands. Following the hike, we will visit the Oldenburg Vineyards for a comprehensive introduction to South African wine.

To conclude the day, participants will enjoy an exquisite wine tasting accompanied by cheese. The excursion will end as we transport you back to the starting point by minibus after a four-hour journey.
