In this bird watching activity in the Ebro Delta, we'll admire the great ornithological diversity of this area of the province of Tarragona.

Ebro Delta Bird Watching Tour

We'll meet at the reception of Camping Ampolla Playa de L'Ampolla at the indicated time. From there, we'll begin our tour to learn about the fauna of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The route will be explored on foot and in your own car, following the guide's vehicle.

Following an environmental educator, we'll explore the area around the Olles Lagoon, which hosts a significant population of waterfowl. During the tour, we'll observe various bird species in this unique ecosystem. We will visit the viewpoints around the lagoon to see ducks, egrets, kingfishers, and stilts, along with impressive flamingos.

Additionally, we will learn about the regional vegetation and the rice fields surrounding the reserve. This bird watching experience in the Olles Lagoon and the bay of Fangar runs along the coastline from L'Ampolla to the fishing port of Illa de Mar.

After a journey lasting two and a half to three hours, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point.
