If you'd like to learn all about the legend of the Ahuashiyacu Waterfall, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Tarapoto and start this day trip. After arriving, we will drive for 25 minutes to reach the waterfall.

During our journey, we will stop at the Cerro Escalera viewpoint to admire views of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. From here, we will walk 5 minutes to the waterfall while sharing the tale of a young girl affected by a spell.

You will have 1 hour of free time to explore the area and take a dip under the 131-foot (40-meter) high waterfall, or you can stroll along the trails and observe local wildlife.

After reconvening, we will return to Tarapoto and drop you off at your hotel at 1 pm.
