Ahuashiyacu Waterfall Day Trip
Experience a swim in a natural spring near Tarapoto on our Ahuashiyacu Waterfall Day Trip, visiting a 131-foot waterfall in a natural setting. We will pick you up at your hotel in Tarapoto to begin the journey.
The trip includes a 25-minute drive to the Ahuashiyacu Waterfall, with a stop at the Cerro Escalera viewpoint to enjoy views of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. From this viewpoint, there is a 5-minute walk to the waterfall, during which we will share the legend of a young girl affected by a spell.
Upon arrival, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore the area, swim under the waterfall, or walk the trails to observe local wildlife.
After the visit, we will return to Tarapoto and drop you off at your hotel by 1 pm.
