We will meet at number 385 on Jiron Nasca in Tarapoto and set off on a 30-minute drive.
Upon arrival at the village of San Antonio de Cumbaza, our adventure begins. We will embark on a 2-hour hike to explore the Huacamaillo Waterfall, traversing the lush Amazon Rainforest and crossing the Cumbaza River.
The trail spans 2.5 miles (4 kilometers), leading to the waterfall nestled among the trees. You will have 2 hours of free time to swim, enjoy a picnic, and capture photos of the 65-foot (20-meter) high waterfall.
After the hike, we will return to our vehicle, concluding the tour with a drop-off at the starting point in Tarapoto by 5 pm, for a total duration of 8 hours.
