Cacao Lagoon Kayak Tour

On this kayak tour through the Cacao Lagoon, you'll navigate through a mangrove paradise on the coast of Honduras and see native animals!

Description

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Ceiba and set off to the Cacao Lagoon, arriving in just 40 minutes.

This lagoon is surrounded by cocoa trees and sugar cane and flows directly into the sea. Once we reach the shore, our expert instructor will provide a briefing on paddling in a wooden kayak, followed by the adventure.

For the next 2.5 hours, we'll navigate the tranquil waters of this picturesque lake located in the Nombre de Dios Natural Park. During this time, you may encounter up to eight types of mangroves, olingo monkeys, and possibly glimpse white-faced monkeys, kingfishers, or herons in their natural habitats.

After the kayak tour, we'll disembark and return to La Ceiba, with arrival at your hotel scheduled for 5.5-6 hours after the initial pickup.
