On this excursion to Cayos Cochinos, you'll discover a true paradise in the Caribbean Sea.
Description
At 7 am, hotel pickups from La Ceiba will commence, heading to the Sambo Creek Tourist Center for a boat ride to Cayos Cochinos.
After a 40-minute boat journey, we will reach Cayo Bolaños, a small islet with white sands and clear waters, where you can swim.
Next, we will visit Cayo Menor and the Scientific Research Station. Here, a short video about the Natural Marine Monument will provide insights into the area's ecology.
Prepare for a snorkeling experience at Cayo Mayor, exploring the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. We will also take a guided hike through the island to search for the pink boa.
Following the hike, we'll travel to Cayo Chachahuate, where you’ll have 2 hours of free time for lunch, swimming, and relaxation.
As the day ends, we return to Sambo Creek, then to your hotel, arriving around 3 pm.
