Rafting on Cangrejal River

Experience the thrill of rafting on the Cangrejal River, where you'll see the rich vegetation of two distinct natural parks divided by its course.

Description

At 8:30 am, we'll meet in the Central Plaza of La Ceiba to board a minibus to the Cangrejal River. After a 30-minute ride, we'll arrive at the river's top to gear up for an exhilarating rafting adventure. We'll navigate through the rapids until we reach the Bejuco trail.

At the trail, we'll disembark and hike to a hidden waterfall, where we can replenish our energy with tropical fruits. After resting, we'll continue our descent through the most thrilling section of the river, navigating level 4 rapids.

After conquering the Cangrejal River, we will return to La Ceiba, arriving at the meeting point around 2 pm.

Rapid Levels

Rapids will vary throughout the year. During low river conditions, the rapids will be level 2 and 3; during high river conditions, they will be level 3 and 4.
