Lobos Island Hike

  • 6 - 7 Stunden

Located between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, Lobos Island features virgin landscapes accessible through a hike.

Lobos Island Hike

The Canary archipelago attracts thousands of tourists annually, yet many overlook its uninhabited islets. To visit Lobos Island, meet at the port of Corralejo at the designated time.

A ferry will depart for Lobos Island, with a travel time of 20 minutes. This islet, located in the strait of La Bocayna, offers beautiful natural landscapes.

Upon arrival, participants will collect walking poles at the Visitor Centre and commence a guided hiking route. The first stop will be La Concha, a beach featuring a semicircular bay and an ancient Roman archaeological site related to the purple dye production.

The hike continues to volcano La Caldera after passing the Salinas de Marrajo. The summit, at 127 meters, provides panoramic views of Lobos Island and the Corralejo Dunes.

Participants will then descend to Martiño Lighthouse and explore Las Lagunitas, characterized by volcanic rocks and red vegetation. The final stop is El Puertito, where a paella lunch and a refreshing drink will be served.

Afterward, return to Fuerteventura, concluding the excursion at the original meeting point, approximately 6 - 7 hours later.
