Lobos Island Hike
Every year, numerous tourists explore the Canary Islands. However, few visit the small islets. To participate, we'll meet at the port of Corralejo at a specified time.
A ferry will transport us to the dock of Lobos Island in 20 minutes. This islet, situated in the strait of La Bocayna, showcases stunning natural landscapes.
Upon disembarking, we will visit the Visitor Centre to collect walking poles for our guided hiking route around Lobos Island. Our trek will take us to La Concha, a beautiful sandy beach featuring a semicircular bay and a Roman archaeological site related to the ancient dye industry.
Continuing towards volcano La Caldera and passing the Salinas de Marrajo, we will reach the summit at 127 meters, offering panoramic views of Lobos Island and the Corralejo Dunes.
We will then descend to Martiño Lighthouse and Las Lagunitas, known for its volcanic rocks and unique plantation colors. Our final stop will be El Puertito, where we will enjoy a paella lunch and a refreshing drink.
We will return to Fuerteventura, concluding the experience approximately 6 - 7 hours later at the meeting point.
