At 11:30 am, we'll meet at Bodegas Rubio, where the exquisite Luis Felipe brandy is produced. We'll access its facilities to learn how this famous drink from La Palma del Condado is made.
This distillery has been producing reserve liqueurs, including the Luis Felipe Premium Spirit, since the late 19th century, beginning in 1893 with the discovery of unique oak casks. The tour will explore its historical connection to King Louis Philippe I of France.
We will tour the barrel room, learn about the grape processes for making cognac, observe the stills used for distillation, and understand the aging process.
The visit includes a tasting of various liqueurs from Luis Felipe, complemented with chocolates and homemade pastries.
The guided tour will conclude between 12:15 and 12:30 pm.
