Get a glimpse of paradise on our Balandra Beach Day Trip & Swimming with Sea Lions adventure. You'll see one of Mexico's most beautiful beaches and swim with sea lions in Baja California.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Marina Asipona in La Paz. From there, we'll set off on a boat trip to the protected Balandra Beach Nature Reserve.
During the crossing, we'll stop at the San Rafaelito Islet to see the sea lion colonies. You'll be able to put on your snorkelling gear and swim with these creatures while exploring the Gulf of California.
After interacting with the sea lions, we'll continue to Balandra Beach, known for its stunning landscape of cacti, reddish hills, and clear waters. Here, you'll also see the unique rock formation called El Hongo (The Mushroom).
We'll enjoy a lunch on board the boat consisting of ceviche, a ham and cheese sandwich, chips, fresh fruit, and biscuits.
After lunch, we'll head back to the starting point, arriving 5 or 6 hours after the initial pickup.
Important Info
During June, July, and August, activities with sea lions are restricted. Tours during these months will include a snorkelling trip to a reef for about 1 hour instead.
