Death Road Bike Route + Zipline

Pickup at your hotel in La Paz is at 7:30 am, followed by a 1-hour bus ride to La Cumbre, where the bike route begins.

The route spans 20 kilometres to the tourist control point, marking the start of Death Road. Cyclists will navigate winding roads along one of Bolivia's most spectacular routes with several stops to enjoy the views.

After 10 kilometres, the tour will reach the zipline park. Here, guests have 20 minutes to slide down the cables in the Yungas tropical region. After this adventure, the bike tour continues.

The descent covers 32 kilometres through waterfalls and dirt roads until reaching the village of Yolosa, where a buffet lunch is provided at a local restaurant. There is also a swimming pool available for relaxation.

The tour concludes with a return to La Paz, arriving back at your hotel by 7:30 pm.

Types of Bikes

Two types of bikes are available for the tour:

Double suspension bikes: recommended for less experienced riders, offering stability and comfort with Hayes hydraulic brakes.Single suspension bikes: suitable for experienced cyclists, more rigid and challenging to handle.
